How to raise newly purchased chickens Question

For newly bought chicken fry, there are many issues to pay attention to when raising, such as controlling the temperature and humidity, controlling the stocking density, and ventilating the chicken house. Let's take a look.

How to raise newly purchased chicken fry

1. Stocking density

Each square meter can raise 50-60 chicks aged 1-10 days, 30-40 chicks aged 10-20 days, 20 chicks aged 20-40 days, and chicks 40-56 days old. 10, cut off howlings in time with scissors to ensure the survival rate of the chicks.

2. Temperature and humidity

(1) 40-35℃ for 1-3 days, 34-33℃ for 4-5 days, 33-32℃ for 6-8 days, 32-30℃ for 9-12 days, 13-20 days old It is 30-28℃, and it can be normal temperature in the future.

(2) Method to adjust the temperature: small flocks of chickens can be placed in cartons or wooden boxes with hay or cotton wool, and electric lights can be used for heating. Large flocks of chickens can be kept in a greenhouse.

(3) The humidity should be kept between 70-85% in the first few days. High humidity is good for the absorption of yolk, and the humidity should be controlled between 55-65% in the later period.

3. Strengthen feeding

Before the chicks start feeding, they should drink 0.01-0.02% potassium permanganate aqueous solution, then feed 8% sucrose water, and finally feed.

The feeding amount increases with the age of the chicks, and each time 80% full is appropriate, of which 50-60% for cereals, 5-10% for bran, 20-25% for oil cakes, and 7- for animal feed 20%, 4-5% of bone meal and shell meal, 0.3-0.5% of table salt.

4. Light and movement

Chicks within one week of age can be lighted 24 hours a day and move for 10-20 minutes before and after each feeding.

One week later, when the temperature is suitable, natural light can be used during the day.

Before the 20th day of age, the chicks can be active for 6-7 hours a day (including feeding time). After the 20th day of age, they can be active all day on sunny days. They should be shaded and rested for 2-3 hours during the hot season at noon.

5. Ventilation

Under the condition of ensuring the temperature and humidity of the chicks, ensure ventilation to reduce the breeding of bacteria and viruses in the house. When ventilation, pay attention to the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor.

6. Reasonable grouping

According to the size and strength of the chicks, they are grouped reasonably and adjusted every half a month. If the density is too high, it will affect the healthy growth of the chicks, and the chicks are prone to pecking behavior.

The above is the breeding method of the chicken fry just bought, I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
